About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and customer-focused Freight Operations Executive to join our dynamic freight forwarding team. This role is ideal for an individual with a passion for logistics and supply chain operations, possessing hands-on experience in coordinating international freight movements across air, sea, neutral freight, and project shipments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day freight operations, ensuring the smooth execution of import, export, and cross-trade shipments while delivering exceptional customer service. You will work closely with customers, carriers, overseas agents, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless cargo movement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Freight Operations

• Coordinate and manage end-to-end Air Freight, Sea Freight, Neutral Freight, Cross-Trade, and Project Cargo shipments.
• Arrange bookings with airlines, shipping lines, transport providers, warehouses, and overseas agents.
• Monitor shipments to ensure timely movement of cargo and adherence to customer requirements.
• Prepare, verify, and process shipping documents, including Bills of Lading, Air Waybills, permits, invoices, packing lists, and customs documentation.
• Liaise with customers, carriers, overseas partners, customs brokers, and service providers to facilitate smooth freight operations.
• Track shipment milestones and provide timely status updates to customers and stakeholders.
• Resolve operational issues, shipment delays, and service disruptions professionally and efficiently.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate shipment processing and service delivery.
• Assist in handling project cargo movements and specialized logistics requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all operational activities.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, trade requirements, company policies, and operating procedures.
• Support Control Tower 24/7 for time-critical shipments including participate in duty rotations within the Control Tower, ensuring seamless customer operations.
• Be available on call during off-duty hours to ensure operational continuity.
• Maintain confidentiality of all work-related information, with immediate dismissal as a consequence of any integrity breaches.
• Carry out any additional duties as may be required for a role of this level, or upon instructions from the management.

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding, logistics, shipping, supply chain, or transportation operations.
• Experience handling Air Freight and/or Sea Freight operations.
• Familiarity with import/export procedures, freight documentation, customs requirements, and international shipping processes.
• Experience coordinating with carriers, agents, customers, and logistics service providers.
